Coming Alongside Others to Maximize Peace

How Collaborative Conversations Make the Difference

(A Mini-Workshop)

The need for peace in our world and our daily lives grows as chaos, stress and disagreement preoccupy us.  In our world, global instability, national distress of conflicting change and uncertainty create polarizations.  When we allow contention to rule over cooperation, we find ourselves gripped, almost paralyzed, by these overwhelming experiences.  Holding too firmly to our beliefs doesn’t allow creative, collaborative viewpoints to be discovered together.  Are we slowly evolving toward a world where, like the Tower of Babel, we are unable to talk with each other?
